The Smurfs' Village
One of my favorite animated series of the 80's is “The Smurfs”, the small blue creatures “two apples tall or a little more”, as the song of the Italian version of the cartoon, “I Puffi”, said.
This animated series is very famous, both for adults and children, and I believe that a Lego set dedicated to the Smurfs could be very successful.
In my Smurfs' Village set there are a total of 9 Smurfs (which the more experts will easily recognise, such as Papa Smurf, Smurfette..) and three houses (which in the series were made with mushrooms) whose roof and one of the walls can be opened in order to have access to the inside.
I also included Gargamel and his trusty cat Azrael (Birba), the Smurfs' bitter enemies who try incessantly, but in vain, to capture them.
Gargamel is made in the size of the up-scaled Minifigures: it's incredible how this size fits perfectly the dimension of the humans in respect of the Smurfs' one!
All with approximately 2400 pieces.
Have fun with the Smurfs!
