Meeting Beetlejuice
"Let's turn on the juice and see what shakes loose."
Beetlejuice is a cult classic released in the late 80s. Directed by Tim Burton, it turns the exorcism trope upside down when recently deceased couple, Barbara and Adam Maitland, seek the help of "bio-exorcist" Betelgeuse to scare away a family that moved into the Maitland's house.
For my build, I chose the scene in the graveyard when Maitlands meet Betelgeuse. I like the surreal design of the set in this scene. Our characters are, actually, inside a model of a Winter River, that Adam built. Hence, the set has this unique look and texture, which I tried to replicate using teeth and pyramid slope pieces.
The headstone has a very prominent arrow, so I wanted to use bricks to replicate it instead of a sticker. I've done this using a technique from 10497 Galaxy Explorer.
With the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice coming out soon, it would be great to have a LEGO version celebrating the classic.
