The 1987 sci-fi drama follows a group of New York tenants who receive aid from small, intelligent spaceships known as the "Fix-its."
In tribute to my beloved film from my childhood, I've meticulously constructed a modular model of the East Village apartment building. Comprised of 2637 pieces, it encompasses eight sections: the basement housing Harry's apartment, the first floor featuring Faye and Frank Riley's bustling café business, their cosy apartment on the second floor, and the residence of tenants Mason and Marisa on the third. Crowning the model is the roof, complete with the Fix-its' storage shed, alongside the inclusion of young troublemaker Carlos.
This detailed set faithfully captures iconic scenes from the film, showcasing multiple rooms and intricate details. The complete Fix-it family, from parents to their little ones, adds a delightful touch to this nostalgic gem of 80's cinema.
