About Jem and The Holograms
Jem and The Holograms was a cartoon created by Hasbro, Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions. The series ran on tv from 1985 to 1988. The series is about Jerrica and her alter ego; the pop star Jem and her band Jem and The Holograms. The show is packed with all the beauties of the 80s decade. From everything to bold, vibrant and colorful fashion and big permanent hair to synthesized songs and themed music videos, as well as girl power and futuristic holograms.
Through this build i wanted to display the vibrant 80s aesthetic perfectly captured in the Jem cartoon, as well as recreating the nostalgic feeling so many have had growing up with Saturday Morning Cartoons and some cereal for breakfast.
About The Build
This set contains 1427 pieces, including 7 minifigs. The set is divided in 2 main builds, a tv inspired by the late 80s big box tvs and a bowl of cereal.
