Under the Mountain (1981)

Under the Mountain is a kids' TV Show that aired on Television New Zealand in 1981 but it was also broadcast in the US. In my country, it was called De Moddermonsters (the Mud Monsters). The story is about two non-identical twins Rachel and Theo, who are visiting their aunt, uncle and cousin Ricky in Auckland. There they meet a familiar face from the past: Mister Jones.

Mr. Jones who is an alien needs the powerful twins to save the world from the alien slugs that are planning on absorbing our planet by turning it into a mud pool.

I have recreated the show's main features: a display showing the main title and the final moments of the series: Red Force, Blue Force. The cave in which the last alien slug is awakening. The car of the Wilberforces. Ricky's red car. I have included Rachel, Theo, Mr. Jones, Ricky, Mr. Wilberforce and one of his companions and two buildable Mud Monsters.
