MacGyver's Tools of the Trade

So common and simple, yet useful enough to solve a wide range of problems, these items appeared in the 1985 show MacGyver on a very regular basis. Angus "Mac" MacGyver is an agent for the Phoenix Foundation, and when his adventures get him into a tough situation, he uses these go-to tools to get himself out. From creating an electrical current using a gum wrapper, to picking a lock with a paper clip, these tools allow MacGyver to do just about anything. While most of these tools he finds just lying around, MacGyver never leaves home without his signature military field watch. Of all these simple gadgets, Mac's tool of choice is the roll of duct tape, which he used in one episode to build a makeshift plane!
