That Special Place Inside My Head

In this hectic world we live in, escape to other places is not always possible but with some chilled music and an active imagination what's stopping you!

My 'Escape with Loft Girl' entry is a large scale sculpture of Lofi Girl with her book and pen literally showing her daydreams in her head. From the grand adventure of space travel amongst the stars to the deepest pool at the bottom of a waterfall. Flying high like Amelia Earhart in her record breaking flights to the tranquil log cabin amongst the woods by a stream.

I have used many advanced techniques as well as an internal Lego technic frame to build the sculpture around. I used micro scale for the scenes which contrasts the scale of the main sculpture. To get an idea of scale see the mini figure Lofi Girl standing on her book.

I am particularly pleased with the profile view which is modelled on Lofi Girl's iconic pose and only hints on the various scenes around the back.
