Home for the Holidays
When asked the question "What does family mean to you", I couldn't help but think of spending time with your family for Christmas. Having a snowball fight out in the yard while your parents make Christmas dinner in the kitchen, and then going to sleep anticipating the next morning was all that came to my mind. So, when thinking of something to make, I tried to encapsulate that feeling. I made a home where the family is getting ready for Christmas and who are just enjoying each other's company. The father and son snowball fight while the mother prepares dinner for them. In the living room is a Christmas tree with maybe a little something for the kid hiding behind it. The back wall also opens up to get a better look at the first floor. There is also an upstairs attic bedroom for the kid to sleep and dream about Christmas morning. I really like it, and I hope you do too!
