Family Hike / Memorial Service

When I saw this contest, I knew from the get-go what I would create. I chose to recreate a family hiking trip we did in memoriam of my grandfather who passed away. I will always remember how me and my whole family got together to remember such an influential person in all our lives. I truly enjoyed creating this build, it was a fun challenge to simulate the height of the mountain through the Studs-on-the-side construction at the base. As seen in the photos you can see that there is a wrap-around of the dark tan to provide structural stability as well as make the back look a little better. I decided to also include two hikers to make the scene a little more vibrant. Although it is hard to see in the pictures I did also include a small angled trail section nestled between the foreground and the background.
