Real-Life Family Memory

What better family memory than playing Lego as a family! Now, this might seem set up, but this is actually our dedicated Lego area in our basement. I only wish you could see it to believe it (maybe if the set wins!).

Having 3 boys (ages 13, 11, and 4) and being an AFOL myself, nothing is more fun than playing Lego together with mom and them.

Unboxing gifts, rainy days, having friends over… Only good times!

Now, what is really cool about this set is that it is not just built to be put on a shelf and collect dust as an ornament. No! You can actually play with it. There are planes, trains, and automobiles; a castle, a ship, and an alligator; mini-minifigs and the whole family. Plus, you have a few trophies, glow-in-the-dark lights, and storage boxes with extra pieces so you can create your own micro-builds.

Even if this build doesn’t get chosen, I think I’m going to custom build it myself… so the kids could play with it… Yeah, for the kids.
