The FlickyBall

This is a game I built several years ago (we used to call it LegoBall at that time).
My daughter and I played for hours with this simple yet very fun game and I have to admit I had as much fun as she did when playing.

This game is for two players.
The rules are simple:
First, the two colored marbles are placed on their starting position on the round tiles in the center of the field.
Then each player takes turn to flick his own marble and tries to make the opponent's marble exit by one of the four exits.

The studs on the field allow a fine control on the marbles' movement and the balls stay put without having to care too much about the base's stability.
The two starting stands on the center can be used to protect your marble (it is harder to reach a marble behind the stand).
The counters use octal numeral system (Lego doesn't have small gears with 10 teeth) but this can have a good educational value.

I'd love to see parents and children sharing good times with this game, as we did.
