RC Roadride
When the 10265 Lego Mustang was announced I thought this is the perfect Lego implementation of my favorite car;
but then I realized, it cannot drive...
To fit everything necessary, the engine had to be replaced partially in favor of the servo and the seats moved one stud to the front.
Nevertheless the ride is still comfortable, thanks to the pneumatic suspension, which also serves as height adjustment.
The gear stick operates as a switch for the pneumatic system, which is filled through the trunk.
The cylinders are connected separately to the two 5292 Buggy Motors, which offer almost the same acceleration as the real car ;-)
To make sure the front tyres always have ground contact, the model is provided with a working rubber band suspension.
And to drive safely at night, I added rear and front lights.
The perfect scenery for this pony? Of course on the street! Or in the wild? But surely in company with his ancestors in a scenery representing freedom, independence, style, and performance.
