BASE: Asteroid Home Mobile Base
Since the Oumuamua observation in 2017 (first interstellar object detected in the Solar System), I've been quite obsessed with the idea of spaceships and bases built on asteroids. I have no idea if it will be possible in the distant future, but I love how they look, the mix of technological parts in giant organic rocks traveling through space.
I built a micro-scale space city on an asteroid. There are several buildings with different purposes, from a hospital bay to a communication center, or a tall and blue apartment building for the inhabitants of the asteroid. Inside the asteroid, there is a hangar for spaceships. You can see one taking off!
And my favourite part of the asteroid: The Botanical Dome. A forest that provides food and oxygen to the asteroid, but also helps the inhabitants to remember Earth.
This microscale model is on top of a round grey recreating a moon (with a classic blue astronaut) and a round black base.
