Vehicle: Antsplorer
Elsewhere in the LEGO media galaxy, we find our awesome explorer--A spaceman who still remembers the old rules about not equipping weapons to science vehicles. Using pieces repurposed from two or three cheap war sets, this hero classic spaceman continues to accomplish his mission: measuring electromagnetic waves and other quantum mechanical phenomena, in search of friendly alien creatures.
The spaceman's vehicle is modeled after an earthling ant. It features ten or more points of articulation, two or three external sensor devices, and no weapons whatsoever. The abdominal pilot's chamber is heavily shielded, just in case the aliens (or other explorers) aren't playing well and nice. Access to the cabin is provided through an aft-side hatch. Once situated, the pilot drives the tank with left and right cordless controllers. These controllers also transmit video and other data from external sensors. If necessary, the fore-side shielding can be removed for maintenance.
