BASE: Mobile Hydroponics Laboratory

Hydroponics is the technique of growing plants without any kind of soil. On another planet with an abundance of sunlight, but no soil to plant in, the mobile hydroponics laboratory is on the case! With legs built to follow the sun, this laboratory walks along the stony earth as the scientist inside is able to study the plants being brought along with it.

This model consists of 245 pieces, with a removable roof and hinged door to open access to the interior lab. The interior contains three separate pieces of equipment: the hydroponics themselves, a microscope for studying the grown plants, and a special tool to perform experiments on the plant cells.
