Vehicle: Exploring an Icy Planet!
On the frozen fields of Krysto, a lone rover makes its way through the tundra.
For this contest, I wanted to pay tribute to a classic space theme that is sometimes forgotten, ice planet.
The build I made is a rover, which draws inspiration from the theme's general design philosophy: large wheels, snow plows, communication disks, and of course the iconic blue, white and transparent neon orange colour scheme.
With the rover, it can open from the back to reveal a lab, alongside a removable storage crate.
Also included is a small communications outpost, an under-looked element of ice planet that I feel is important for exploring the cosmos: how we can and will be able to interact interplanetary.
The model contains two minifigs and 238 parts.
