Vehicle: Astro Crab

The LL-244 Crawling Reconnaissance Aerial Bark, or "Astro Crab," is a single-seat all-terrain vehicle designed for exploration. Equipped with powerful claws, it clears debris from rock slides and other disasters, as well as delivers heavy loads back to base. It is fitted with an oversized Mk. 10 crystollic fusion engine for rapid travel at sub-light speeds. Its powerful engine allows it to attach heavy loads in the front via the claws and push them through space, often from an orbiting station to the planet below.

Interestingly, it is also programmed with a friendly disposition, and will become attached to its particular driver over the course of many missions. Overall, it is an indispensable vehicle to the frontier.
