VEHICLE: Space Freighter.

Anyone who has ever had to move house knows how essential freighter craft will be in the distant future! The powerful engine can displace heavy cargo among remote solar systems, while the driver seats at a safe distance from the thrusters. The container is securely clamped with eight studs on each side; when the technic clamps are not in use, they neatly fold into the structure thanks to the ball joints. The weakest parts of the structure are reinforced with technic axles, especially the centre of the ship, and the connection of the central section to the engines (a long 16L axle allows the stud inversion, and secures the rear cone to the girders).

The colours follow the classic space scheme, which contrast nicely with the red H-alpha emission of the Elephant's Trunk Nebula in the background (my own picture, when I can be bothered to face the cold to do some astrophotography).
