There was an astronaut who lived in a boot, which was enlarged one day with advanced growth technology.

I put a futuristic spin on a classic nursery rhyme. This astronaut found herself isolated on a planet with few supplies, limited food and a growth-ray. She took her boot and made it large enough to become a shelter. The growth-ray also comes in handy for making food rations last significantly longer.
