Old World Map

This was the first custom art piece I made.  I wanted to recreate an old document, something that would be easily recognizable but something also unique!  One day I was looking for something to get my wife for her birthday and I stumbled across a picture of an old world map, which is where my inspiration came from.  A lot of old maps have big fancy compasses on them, along with various little pictures, including sea monsters so I created those in this mosaic masterpiece!  This currently hangs on the wall of my office/LEGO room and has ~10k pieces.
