Birds: Nature's Artists.

I'm sure we've all thought to ourselves at some point that birds are very pretty, but I've begun to wonder... Perhaps they planned it that way all along? Perhaps these birds have intentionally structured their lives around being pretty, simply for its own sake. Why else would they call to each other with such beautiful songs? Why else would they have such beautifully colored and patterned feathers? Why else would they fly around in such an elegant way that it inspired us to build airplanes so we could be like them? I like to imagine that birds are out there doing the things they do simply so they can contribute to making nature a more beautiful place. In that way, birds are nature's artists, devoting their lives to making landscapes all the more beautiful simply by being around!
