What Really Matters
The Model
My entry
consists of exactly 797 pieces and comes with 2 Minifigures. It uses only parts
in black, white, light bluish grey and trans clear, with highlights in pearl
gold and metallic gold to create a visually settled vignette. It measures about
22.5 x 22.5 x 13.1 centimeters (8.9 x 8.9 x 5.1 inches).
The build
features a fountain, a streetlamp and a small bush on a paved sidewalk,
separated from a lawn with two trees and a bench.
Although my
model is built digitally, I made sure that all pieces are available.
What really matters
The golden
pieces represent what really matters: Life and Love. All the rest is monochromatic
and faded, and therefore unimportant. The figure in white leaves the safe and
comfortable place on the bench under the trees, willing to find love. The
setting and the objects are timeless, as is the message.
