Stone Age Sewing Machine
Bedrock is the place to find all of the latest inventions including this automatic sewing machine. It is powered by a prehistoric predecessor to the hamster. He runs in a hollowed out log that sits on top of two log rollers. The log rollers are fitted into carved out indentations in the upper stone. The hollowed out log is attached to a vertical stone pillar that holds the wooden needle. As the hollowed log rotates, the stone pillar will move up and down providing the motion needed for the needle to function properly. I designed the wheel so that it can actually rotate making the needle move up and down.
Along with a source of power, the sewing machine also has a source of thread. The giant spider perched on the upper stone provides his spider silk as a source of thread which attaches to the wooden needle in order for it to be used as thread.
The base stone also includes a notch to allow the needle to pierce through the fabric completely.
