Brick: Up the Waterspout
"The itsy-bitsy spider climed up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out!"
The inspiration for this build came from those first words of a popular nursery rhyme.
Spider-man is tracking villains in the one part of New York you wouldn't want to visit: the sewers! Suddenly, he is ambushed by Kraven the Hunter (with his pet crocodile!) and one of Spider-man's lesser-known villains, Hydro-man, who has the ablility to turn himself into water - making the sewer the perfect place for him to hide out.
The main (center) part of this build has 479 pieces and an interesting circular shape that was challenging to design. I also tried for the first time "greebling" - which you can see in the title and in the top and bottom margins of the main image - which combined with the other title/cover details adds an extra 234 pieces.
I also added many little details that were really fun to put in; see what you can spot!
