How to put yourself in serious peril 101:

1. Join forces with the Police and offer rewards for the capture of seriously scary villians.

2. Annoy the heroes by offering rewards for their capture too.

3. Publish a newspaper with full page spreads of every target.

4. Put your face on a massive billboard.

No wonder Spiderman/Peter Parker thinks his boss Jameson is an idiot.
