Art: Swinging Through the Years!
This is the cover of a comic book all about Spider-Man’s evolution through film and LEGO. The cover was drawn first and the shapes of the image were cut out with an ex-acto knife and glued to a clear piece of acitate. The background is made from LEGO tiles and plates to give the cover an even more lego feel. There are references to many versions of Spider-Man in movies as well as Spider-Man in LEGO form. The big Spider-Man in the top left is based on the suit from the Amazing Spider-Man 2, the triangular lines cutting through the cover are similar to the graphics in the Raimi trilogy precredits, and the venom on top is based on the movie as well as the LEGO buildable bust (with the eye being the same shape as the sets), and under the LEGO Spider-Man is the toxic spider from Spiderverse. This comic book cover is about the celebration of a beloved comic book hero and his many forms and renditions throughout the years! Spider-Man is loved for a reason and every version is amazing!
