Voltron: Discovering The Blue Lions Cave

Blue is my favorite collor wich also makes the blue lion my favorite lion. This cave design is loosely inspired by the newest voltron series. I tried to incorporate a lot of water elements in order to make the blue lion feel at home in this cave. I also wanted to make the entrance in the form of a lion to give it a voltron feel. The overall shape of the cave is uneven and gives it a natural look. Inside the cave you can see cave drawings depicting a prophecy of 5 humans descovering the blue lion. because it's normally dark in a cave the drawing lights up like bioluminescence. To get to the blue lion you have to be brave enough to slide down the waterfall. Next to the water there is still a bit of land so you can rest after falling down the waterfall. At first I wanted to make it al closed up. It would have been really hard to make good images and get camera angles right so I desided to let it stay open. I really like how it turned out, hope you guys like it as well.
