Major Tom

I got this idea from the song "Major Tom Comes Home", which came out in 1986 (I think). The base is supposed to be the earth (as though he is looking at it below him in earth orbit). The column supports the ship, the satellite, and the two spacemen, giving the effect of floating in space. The satellite is supposed to be receiving Major Tom's final message, the other spaceman is there for the acoustics, and the space is supposed to be malfunctioning like in the song.
