History of Music Carousel
In this MOC
I built a kind of theater on which the history of music is represented by
examples of musicians through the centuries.
It starts
from a primitive man who plays a trunk with bones; then an ancient Greek with a
zither and the "aulos" (a double-barreled flute); a jester with a
tambourine; a medieval artist with a hurdy-gurdy; a pianist/clavincellist; a
trumpeter of a military fanfare, a jazzman trumpeter; a gangster (hopefully in
the violin case he has a real violin); an "Elvis Presley" singer; a
psychedelic pop singer from the 70s; a rock/punk artist; a rapper.
A system of
gears allows the various artists to come to the stage one by one in succession by turning
the small dome on the roof.
