Cool American Jazzers

Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer, one of the foremost exponents of cool jazz. I like that! Never saw him perform live, so I‘m imagining his quartet like this. His style is so entertaining, ranging from refined to bombastic, as Wikipedia says. Actually, many may think - including me - that the famous TAKE FIVE was composed by Brubeck. He often played it. But no, the composer of this song was his long-time musical partner, alto saxophonist Paul Desmond. He is on stage too, ready to play. 

I had great fun building this. The stage lights a simply built from three parts, using a ball piece to choose a perfect position in any direction. The light is lit with photoshop. 😊 The piano opens (and closes) and has strings inside (the grill piece). The contrabass consists of the cloud piece, the closest I could get to that wonderful hourglass shaped instrument.
