Erling Records
There is something magical about record stores. People crate digging, all the sleeves of your favourite albums on display, crates full of records, record players, walls full of posters... it's all just fascinating. I could not think of a better subject to tackle with the bricks.
One of the most obvious design choices is it being upscaled from minifigure to miniland scale. I did this to be able to have more brick built details and to have an overall more substantial build. I also wanted this to be a full 360-degree build with detail all around. That's why there is a full exterior alongside the full interior.
I won't spoil all the little details I've snuck in this build but I will say I had tons of fun Lego-ising famous cover designs for the wall designs, the store name and even a Lego advertisment from the 1980s.
This model has 1513 LEGO pieces.
Hope you like it!
