Lego Laser Harp

Legendary electronica composer Jean Michel Jarre is playing his pioneering instrument, the laser harp. The principle of the laser harp is very simple, but it looks so incredibly cool being played.

I nicked all the beams from the Death Star set (they are a part of the super laser destryoing Alderaan). I also think I managed to put together a quite convincing Jean Michel Jarre, beard stubble, sunglasses, gloves and all. The white shirt is a shirt he wore on a lot on stage during his 2011 world tour.

Jean-Michel is an electronic music legend who had his breakthrough with the synthesizer album Oxygene in 1977. He has sold 80 million albums in his career, and has been a huge influence on other artists. He is also in the Guiness Book of Records for having the largest audience ever at a concert: 3.5 million in Moscow in 1997. This was done by beating his previous records: 2.5 million in Paris (1990) and 1.3 million in Houston (1986)
