INDIE ROCK REPUBLIC

Inspired by 50 top bands that every specialized magazine publishes every year, I tried to put the most references of my favorite bands into this model.

However, since the build became so huge and the piece count it is almost at the limit, I had to stop by 40 bands references.

The main building is inspired by "Led Zeppelin - Physical Grafitti" and the rest of the elements and builds were extracted from particular music video scenes or inspired by band album covers.

It was super challenging to pick a band and find particular references that could be added to this project. I needed to browse around 200 bands I enjoy listening to and watch (and rewatch!) so many music videos in order to find the references to join them together creating a fun balanced design.

Some references are very subtle, others are obvious, anyway I've tried my best!

I challenge you to match the bands below with the elements I put in to the project. How many can you find?
