Elvis Presley's Martin D-28 guitar 1:1
Elvis Presley became one of the most influential cultural icons of a generation. He came from very humble beginnings and grew up to become one of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll, and commonly referred to as the “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll”.
His guitar
Sometime after the 21st of June 1955 Elvis purchased his Martin D-28. Not long after, he began using a custom made tooled leather cover with his name "Elvis Presley" blazoned across the front, which appeared on the cover of Presley's first album.
The LEGO model
This model features a true to size Martin D-28 guitar with Elvis’ custom made leather cover.
The set contains 3000 parts, with a height of 120cm and width of 40cm (it’s 1 to 1!).
The model does not currently have a back or the preferred grid structure inside, which will give the model stability and strength to hang on the wall, as it's intended to, due to the restriction of 3k bricks.
