It takes two to Tango
With a dark red rose between the teeth? Rather not ☺️ The real tango does not need roses and still it goes straight to my heart.
I adore the sound of tango music. That special voice of the Bandoneon, this accordion kind of instrument, but smaller and shaped like a box. And then I discovered in several European cities those people dancing tango on sunny Sundays on public squares, in public gardens and parks... and this is how it started. Now I’m a tango dancer too 💃🏻 and listen for hours to traditional tango music from South America.
This little scene depicts my feeling how I discovered the music and the dance outside in the streets. Always some energetic tourist nearby taking pictures while a duo plays the tunes to dance to.
In the close up picture you see the woman with closed eyes and a smile on her face. That’s how it feels to feel the music and express it through the dance with a tanguero who leads the dance.
It could be a mini addition to the modular houses series. Enjoy!
