Mobile Rocket Transport

In the spirit of the new Galaxy Explorer being released, I thought that a similar process could be a classic set that I happen to know, 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport. I both upscaled and updated the design, taking inspiration from the techniques used in the new Galaxy Explorer, while throwing my own spin on things. This may just be my favourite MOC that I have ever made, and even if it doesn’t win I had such a blast making it, and for me it was worth it just for that.

Many features of the original were kept, such as the satellite launcher and the eight large wheels, and we even used the same cockpit element used in the original. I added some personal touches, like the bumblebee stripes and a more detailed design overall.

I hope that I have done the original set justice, and I also hope that this would be an inspiration to all fellow builders. I only wish there was a greater number of photos allowed so I could showcase more of the techniques I used.
