Tundra Thunderer (Ice Planet)

Explore the frozen wastes of Ice Planet! This ship is designed to be able to stand up to the harshest weather never experienced by human beings. The Ice Planet explorer/colonist needs a fast, reliable ship to get around safely. The Tundra Thunderer is very solid piece of equipment. It can achieve space flight but was built mainly for surface travel. The skids mostly act as a huge snow shoe to spread the load of the craft if you stop in a drift of fresh powder. Don't want your ride to sink while you're working out there.

The next phase of the mission is to make a tectonic map of the planet and cause a global volcanic cascade. The ensuing green house effect from the volcanic material in the atmosphere will end the ice age! ...in theory
