Lunar Surface Marauder

Please enjoy my tribute to Classic Space, the Lunar Surface Marauder!

This six-wheeled powerhouse boasts the iconic blue, grey, translucent yellow, and red wheels of the CS theme. The iconic bumblebee stripes also appear, of course!

Like CS, the LSM has several play features, including a detachable space scooter, supply rover, poseable satellite dish, small research lab with folding roof, and tons of gear! A working steering and suspension system also means that no surface is too tough for the Lunar Surface Marauder!

The cockpit seats two pilots comfortably, and twin radar dishes feed them information about their surroundings. Like the original CS line, I wanted to create something that is very fun to play with, while also integrating lots of detail so that it's cool to look at, too! Don't be fooled, though, this is a very tough model, and truly lives up to its name.
