C.R.I.S.P V3.7 - Ice Planet 2022

The Cold Resistant Investigatory Science Platform was designed as a mobile science lab able to traverse the harsh landscape of polar regions. Its double insulation and ability to climb jagged landscapes make it an ideal addition to the Ice Planet exploratory team. Capable of several load outs, this version is equipped with a:

Satellite rocket lifter

Shoulder mounted drill laser

Mammoth Plasma Saw

When designing this I wanted to capture the feel of the classic sets and building style of that era while using modern pieces. I also thought of how a science based mech would differ from one designed for combat. I hope that the somewhat ramshackle greebling expresses that they have perhaps had to do multiple repairs on the fly and maybe even added their own modifications.

It was a blast creating a new team and utilizing some newer pieces the generate a set for my favorite theme. I am 100% inspired to create more Ice Planet sets and look forward to the challenge. Thank you.
