Classic Space: Moon Base

My model is a Moon Base based on the original Classic Space series, in which I have incorporated the colours, style and of course the playability of the original sets. The whole model can be opened and closed and is built from 574 pieces. The dimensions are: 51.2x25.9x16.6cm.

To get in and out of the base, there is a sliding door on the airlock, in which the 4 minifigures can store their helmets, air bottles and a complete set of original utensils plus an extra brush to get rid of the moon dust. The astronauts have a robot that assists them and records their adventures, as well as a moon rover and a spaceship to allow them to travel around. Inside the base is a control centre with lots of computers and monitors. In another room there are bunkbeds where the minifigures can sleep after a hard day’s work. On top of the base there are rotatable satellite dishes to allow them to communicate into space. It is a complete playable world.
