Brick-Built Benny

Who loves spaceships more than anybody? Benny, of course!

For this challenge, I decided to create a brick-built Benny, complete with his unique facial expressions, his blue jet pack, the faded Classic Space logo, and of course, his cracked helmet.

This is a 10 in (26 cm) tall, highly detailed posable figure, and would make an excellent display piece for kids and adults. It is just a digital concept for now, and there is a lot of room for improvement for sure. A lot of techniques used in my Blue Classic Spaceman model were inspired by the LEGO Harry Potter & Hermione Granger set, which I find brilliant! I can see this becoming a huge collection in the future.

I was born in the 80s just like Benny, and the space theme is very close to my heart. This is why I loved this challenge and the reason I added an image of Benny playing with one of my favorite sets from my childhood: the Space Scooter! It would be fun if he came with an accessory like that!
