Galaxy Squad - Alien Encounter

Galaxy Squad is one of the more recent Space themes, and I thought it yielded some amazing mini-figures. I recreated two of the characters here in a larger scale -- the winged mosquitoid, who appears in 70701, 70702, 70705, and 70709; and the blue robot sidekick, who appears in 70700, 70703, and 70709.

I used tire pieces for the mosquitoid's big bug eyes, and a beehive for its weird chest thing. One of the robot's arms is a little rusty and could use replacing.

I've never worked in this scale before, and it was more challenging than I expected, but still super fun!
