Dracula Orchid

The Dracula Orchid is a species of orchid of which, if you look "face first" at the flower, looks like it has a monkey's face. I specifically chose the dracula orchid for this build because it is a plant that has always intrigued me and It gives me slight nostalgia because I remember having one as a kid (even though it died because 7 year old me didn't know how to take care of plants yet). When it came to designing the build building the flower and the "face" was easily the hardest part because it took me a while to both make the flower look like a flower and making the "face" actually work with the flower all while trying to use details to make the "face" look as accurate as I could. I also tried to put a lot of detail into the texture of the substrate. Overall this build uses 190 pieces and uses 8 different colors.
