Little Darcy - Saddle Tank Engine
The moment I saw this challenge go live I knew exactly what I wanted to make: I call this tank engine "Little Darcy" - a fictional name. I put as much detail as I could into the final model, while still making sure it kept to as small of a piece count as possible.
Darcy's Fictitious Backstory:
A small red tank engine was commissioned in the early 1900s to deliver goods trains from the docks to a nearby city in Britain. The workers nicknamed her "Little Darcy". She delivered all kinds of goods in the 60 years she was in service, but her favourite deliveries were the ones of a special new toy that was being imported from Denmark. Since her retirement in the 1960s, she now serves the (fictional) LRTS Heritage Railway - a favourite engine among many.
