Convertible at the Drive-in Theater
Watch a movie in the comfort of your own car!
I wanted to evoke a bit of the 60's vibe, during the peak popularity of drive-ins.
The car isn't based on a particular model, but was inspired by vintage cars.
The screens could be done in some sort of plastic print or hard paper.
I did not base the movie drawings on any movie, but just thought of something random that could look like it was from a movie. I wanted a more 'serious' black and white movie and a funny full color movie.
It would be awesome if the roof could be done like in the renders, with a cape-like cloth.
But, just in case, I added an alternative for a brick built roof if a cloth version is not possible (not in pictures).
The model has 208 parts, including the film screen and the roof cloth. (And just a few more if the cloth roof is replaced with the bruick-built version)
Number of Bricks
208
