Railway Heritage
Have you ever thought to add something historical to your LEGO city? I present you my Railway Heritage, a water replenishment station for tenders. A space dedicated to the history of trains to be placed within a station or nearby. This set can be a nice and realistic addition to your train and city sets, but how could this fit within our modern LEGO cities?
An abandoned track, the water station and a survivor tender are now included within a concrete platform. I chose the ’traditional’ red and black colors for the tender. A train enthusiast minifigure (it’s me!) takes some photos and a small white board illustrates the story of this tender and how the water station worked.
The long arm of the column rotates, making it even more realistic (add it to the LEGO Orient Express!). The vintage lamp on the top of the column and the black and white increased its visibility during the night time. The chains keep the Railway Heritage safe from overly-enthusiastic minifigures!
Hope you enjoy it!
