Mini Orrery of the Inner Solar System

I'm a big fan of astronomy, space travel and functioning LEGO models. So what better way to showcase STEM than with a brick-built, fully working kit of our inner solar system in micro scale?

This model features the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars and all orbit in a realistic way (even the Sun rotates) thanks to the use of Technic gears. The orbital periods match pretty closely:

Earth: 1:19.5 turns => 365.25 days

Mars: 1:37 turns => 693 days

Venus: 1:13.5 turns => 253 days

Mercury & Sun: 1:8 t.

For a GWP I designed a solid, round support stand with rubber feet to prevent movement during manual cranking.

I would also like to see that Series 22 CMF dark purple torso with Classic Space logo put into full use on a Classic Space minifigure because that's how LEGO first ventured into the space theme and it's highly desired by fans.
