Medieval Trebuchet
It's time for a medieval siege. Bring out the trebuchet, that ancient machine used for battering down the walls of a castle.
Although the weapon is believed to date back to antiquity, it was one of the preferred weapons of choice in the middle ages. It is essentially a sling, with the long arm loaded with your weapon of choice, and the short arm is where the force is applied to sling the object through the air.
This trebuchet is using logs as the missiles, but there were many different choices for projectiles back in the day.
The mechanism gives good distance when releasing, so great for losing bits of lego all around the house.
