Braille 8 Puzzle
The Braille reading and writing system and STEM activities have developed a close link, with numerous inclusive classroom projects, to improve access to education.
I wanted to create the most classic 8 puzzle in Braille, giving life to a STEM activity where the experience is not limited to construction, but allows you to learn through play.
A fun way to learn numbers and use your mind, but also food for thought. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics take us into the future, but they must have the task of not leaving anyone behind.
The project consists of 248 pieces.
Each number slides into the structure and even when you turn it face down, thanks to the interlocking system the numbers stay in place. The only one not stuck is the "STEM" block, to be removed when the game starts.
It is also possible to open one side of the structure and use the numbers for other activities.
On the left side there is the word STEM, obviously in Braille!
Enjoy yourself! 😉
