The Da Vinci Flying Machine
Leonardo Da Vinci was always fascinated by birds and had the crazy dream at the time to be able to fly like them. By mimicry he designed and built many flying machines. No one knows if these were built and tested but I wanted to put the genius at the command of one of his machines to allow him to realize his dream and fly with the birds.
This set is full of references to the artist. First of all, I have added a small workshop where he can design and draw his machines as well as paint his pictures. I've put on works of the master that can be attached as decoration on the base or put in the workshop. Among them: the Mona Lisa, the helicopter, the tank, the Vitruvian Man (a censored version). As Leonardo was fascinated by birds, I put two of them, one in flight. The genius also left many plant studies, so two plants are placed on the floor. Leonardo can change his head. Old Leonardo is based on a self-portrait. The mechanism is based on a creation by JKBrickworks which I found amazing.
